The books have arrived in NYC!

Hi all,
The books have arrived in our new offices (!!) and we're sorting through everything so that fulfillment can begin in earnest. As you can imagine there's a lot to get through and as with the pre-production of the book we're trying to be as meticulous as possible with the surveys and packing so that we get everything right.
Some fulfillment has already begun. If you have a digital-only pledge, you should already have received it, and we've slowly started fulfilling physical pledges as we go.
We'll be locking down completed surveys this week. While there is a way to automate the process, we've chosen to go through each pledge manually to minimize issues. We had zero returns of Volume 1 and while we don't expect to get that lucky every time we want to try our best to get as close as possible. We're perfectionists. It's a curse.

I've been told the Backerkit devs have fixed everyone's surveys which required removing all existing add-ons and re-importing them from Kickstarter. Unfortunately this means if you have add-ons in your pledge and had already finished your survey you will need to go back and make sure your order is correct. Our apologies again for this glitch, but hopefully it's smooth sailing from here and we should be able to get all our surveys cleared before the books arrive in our warehouse in a couple weeks.
Please contact [email protected] if there are any problems with your pledge going forward, or if you need us to re-send your survey link. If you got a free slipcase through one of our promotions, don't worry, it'll be added to your pledge manually.

I just spoke to Backerkit and unfortunately the system did not import any of the add-ons from Backerkit, and while they've apologized profusely we have a holiday in the US tomorrow and most offices are closed for the week, so they've asked us to send out an update to tell people who've pledged with add-ons to wait until they've fixed it on Monday to fill out your surveys.
This is obviously not what we hoped for, and if you've already filled yours out, we apologize (and thank you!) but you'll have to go back and finalize the survey when they've sorted the glitch out.
We appreciate you, and if we could fix it on our end or invite you all to our BBQ tomorrow we would, and you wouldn't even have to bring a side dish.
WE WILL SEND OUT A NEW UPDATE WHEN THE PROBLEM IS FIXED. Just so you don't have to guess when it's done, we'll let you know. Thanks again, and apologies, and did we tell you you look great today? Wow. Did you do something different with your hair?

SURVEYS ARE OUT! (+ some surveys have issues)

Hi there, we sent out the surveys this afternoon and we're hearing back that some of the mixed orders seem to have issues in the import from backerkit. We're waiting to hear back from Backerkit with a solution, but rest assured all of your add-ons will be fixed before the books start to ship. Please feel free to email us with any specifics on your particular order, we can fix them manually if need be.
Sorry about the glitch, and thanks for your patience.
Also: we're hopefully gonna announce our next project THIS MONTH, so keep an eye out :)

We got word today that the books are done, unfortunately the printer forgot to take footage of the press, which is a bummer, since we love process stuff, but anyway the books should be shipping out to us next week sometime, and will take a couple weeks to get here from overseas, but it's all moving fast and we're all pretty excited over here.
I want to emphasize this step because this caused some confusion last time: getting your books out to you (even the digital ones) requires a survey to be filled out. Those surveys come from a different service, called BACKERKIT, so please keep an eye out for those emails. We got close to 100% of the books out on volume 1, but the ones that didn't make it are because we are still waiting on an address to send them to.
IMPORTANT: If you used apple's "hide my email" sign in, unfortunately those relay services can't receive mail outside of their intended login site (in this case kickstarter), so we will need to get a real email address into the backerkit system to be able to finalize your order.
We don't share, or sell, or do anything creepy with your personal info, partially because we don't actually know how, we are a very particular kind of nerd and only know how to make comics. (And we've gotten pretty good at packing shipping boxes, if we're listing accolades.)
We're going to start the survey process soon, AND we're going to announce our next book soon, so please stick around and thank you so much every one of you for the thousandth time, for making our weird little section of your bookshelf possible.
