Just a brief note to thank you again for helping us build our weird Roman spaceship.
We did almost double what the first volume did, which I don’t say to brag but to acknowledge the progress. Our primary goal is to build an audience, outside of the usual channels. We want to make books you want to READ, not put in a vault. It’s a long road and we hope you stick around.
We’ll be sending out the digital books very soon to everyone who bought one (anyone who bought the physical version will get one too) and will get started on the long road to fulfillment.
For now we’re just absolutely floored by the support. Even from that one weirdo. You know who I mean.

The kindness of (mostly) strangers in our final week

Today there's a week left of this campaign, our 2nd on a book we worked on for years, that has become tangible through the kindness of (mostly) strangers (hi!) who we could not be more grateful for. We reached 15 countries with volume 1. Probably more with this one. In a world where it's unreasonably hard to put food on your plate through our stories, in comics especially, you folks have made both of these campaigns successful beyond our imaginations.
We're getting all the ins and outs of fulfillment ironed out so we can get everything out as fast as is humanly possible, including sending out ALL the digital rewards as soon as our billing is processed. We want people to read this, more than any other goal. That's the important thing, especially those of you sitting on the cliffhanger of volume 1.
In the meantime, please spread the word. This is a labor of love, we have no media company or anybody else holding us up. We're a handful of people who love this medium and took a lot of (arguably ill-advised) risks to do this instead of whatever normal reasonable people do to keep the lights on. The 2nd book is gorgeous, and I hope it makes you a tiny bit as happy to hold it as it made us to give it form.
