Hello-
As of today we have fulfilled 99% of all pledges for The Roman Stars volume 2. Most of you have your books already, some of you have tracking numbers of books that are finding their way to you. If you made a pledge and have not received either, please check your survey, we're either missing your address info or payment info (for shipping).
If you haven't gotten your survey, or need to make changes, you can do so here.
Words can't express how grateful we are for everything you've done for us. We're a tiny publishing company, but because of you we've had 100% growth in less than a year and we've got a lot of different ideas to come. We love the stuff we're making, and that's really our only goal. To make stuff we're proud of, and share it as wide as we can.

FINAL WEEK OF FULFILLMENT! 90% shipped!

Hi folks-
We have, through an absurd feat of stubbornness, filled and shipped the majority of your pledges. There are a handful of custom boxes going out tomorrow and some new t-shirt pledges going out as soon as we have them in hand.
Most of you receiving this email have either received your box or will very shortly.
There are about 10% of you who have either not filled out your survey, or who need to adjust your banking info, etc. We don't have the info we need to ship your pledges yet.
This is the nature of crowdfunding and is a well-above-average fulfillment rate. With this email we just want to let you know that our fulfillment center is going to be closed down a week from today. This means anyone who hasn't finalized their shipping info by then will have to wait until our next shipping window at the end of the year.
I hope you all love our books. We loved making them, and it was a weirdly joyful process sending them out to you. We threw in some goodies and surprises at random because we're silly and ridiculous people.

NEW SHIRT DESIGN - available for preorder AND existing pledges

Hiya-
We didn't expect our shirts to be so successful, and were running low on t-shirt stock so we decided to add a new design into the mix. It's a black shirt with our signature orange logo and in the interest of printing a nice big order we're opening it up to all our existing pledges before we finalize with the printer. Ordering in the next 72ish hours guarantees we'll have your size, as we will literally be printing one FOR you. We will finalize that order this wednesday, September 11th.
NO t-shirts pledges have shipped out yet. So if you ordered a grey one and want a black one, we will happily swap them in your cart. Let us know at [email protected]
And if you hadn't yet ordered a shirt and are seeing this and realizing you suddenly NEED to, we totally agree and will of course support this decision.

SHIPPING HAS BEGUN (and is about halfway done) (GASP) + New Website

Hi all-
Some of you may already have received your pledges. We're shipping in specific tiers so for example everyone who ordered both standard edition books and the slipcase (or a lot of you got a free slipcase in one of our early bird promos), your book is in transit (or already in your hands) and likewise all our repeat backers who ordered v2 in the standard cover. Don't take it personally, this is just our biggest mass of boxes and we needed to get the heavier orders out to make room to move.
We've shipped out to a dozen different countries already from our new offices in Downtown Brooklyn, NYC. Our new mail carrier hates us. (Probably?)
Most of you have filled out your surveys, but those of you that haven't, please do before this tower of boxes fall upon me like a murderous senate.
ALSO: we have a new website. At the top, you'll see a form where you can be added to our mailing list. The reason you might want to be added: there will be early bird incentives that will ONLY be available in our newsletter. You can also order any Deathray or The Roman Stars stock there.
We haven't announced the new book, BUT if you go to the website, all will be revealed. The campaign will start pretty soon, so come aboard our biggest and craziest book.

The books have arrived in NYC!

Hi all,
The books have arrived in our new offices (!!) and we're sorting through everything so that fulfillment can begin in earnest. As you can imagine there's a lot to get through and as with the pre-production of the book we're trying to be as meticulous as possible with the surveys and packing so that we get everything right.
Some fulfillment has already begun. If you have a digital-only pledge, you should already have received it, and we've slowly started fulfilling physical pledges as we go.
We'll be locking down completed surveys this week. While there is a way to automate the process, we've chosen to go through each pledge manually to minimize issues. We had zero returns of Volume 1 and while we don't expect to get that lucky every time we want to try our best to get as close as possible. We're perfectionists. It's a curse.
